Nerve Mobilization Exercises

Home Care Program

A side lying position with the effected leg up, move the top leg straight out in front of you and allow it to rest on the floor (you want to move the leg out as far as you comfortably can, or until you feel the nerve pain just start to increase slightly).

While keeping everything else still, simultaneously point your toes and bring your chin to your chest.

Next, flex the foot up while extending through the neck.

Think “Toes Up & Nose Up, Toes Down & Nose Down.”

Begin with the arm curled in (as if hooking the pinky and ring fingers under your jaw and making a loop with your index finger and thumb to look through), and laterally bend the neck toward the arm.

With minimal rotation in the neck, laterally bend the head away from the effected side while simultaneously flexing the wrist away from the head.

Return to the beginning position, and repeat.
