To stretch the hip capsule in a seated position, cross one leg over the other and sit up tall.
This may be enough to initiate a stretch in your buttock.
To increase the intensity of the stretch you can press gently down on the knee and/or hip hinge forward.
Hold for 15 seconds and repeat on the other side.
